October 2001 – September 2003

Casual Technician, Millfield Theatre, London:
I worked as a regular electrics casual in this professional theatre.  Work included lighting design and programming (Strand 520i desk), followspot, rigging, focusing and lamp maintenance. I worked on two long runs of professional pantomime as well as many one night shows.

May 2001 – present

Stage Crew, Acorn Theatre Company, London:
As a keen member of this stage crew I have taken on the role of crew, followspot, lighting design and operation, sound operator and ASM. I am aware of the health and safety requirements regarding lifiting, storage and general technical work and have learnt many staging techniques such as flying and tripping cloths.

Additional Skills

I have been involved with over 100 shows in the last 4 years and have such a passion for theatre. When not working on a show I try to go and see other works.

I can read music and can play the piano to grade 4 and sing to grade 5. I am very hard working and reliable. An enthusiastic worker, I cope well with responsibility. My key skills include quick thinking and practical problem solving.

I am currently learning to drive and hope to pass this autumn.

I enjoy travelling and have recently visited North America and New Zealand.
